Los Compadres which mean “The Friends” in Spanish began in 1941 with the founding of the Los Compadres Stables and Riding Club, with rodeos, western culture and fashion, horseback riding in the desert and foothills, the late iconic Mayor Frank Bogert, and the famous mink and manure social events.
